NOTHING WE ACQUIRE WHILE WE ARE HERE ON THE EARTH WILL EVER COMPARE TO THE BEAUTY AND CONTENTMENT THAT COMES WHEN THE LORD GOD DOES THE PLANTING AND THE WATERING ..... GOD CONFIRMS THIS IN THE NEW TESTAMENT WHEN HE SAYS ..... " Consider how the lillies grow . They do not labor or spin . Yet I tell you , not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these . '' LUKE 12:18 ..... LIFE IS HARD ..... IT POSES MANY CHALLENGES BEFORE US ..... WHEN WE COME TO KNOW THAT GOD IS IN CONTROL IT GIVES US A SENSE OF RELIEF , NOT BECAUSE WE GIVE UP BUT BECAUSE WE GIVE IN .....WE GIVE IN TO HIS PLAN FOR WHAT HE WANTS FOR US AND HOW HE WANTS US TO LIVE ..... THIS UNDERSTANDING GIVES US THE ASSURANCE THAT HE CAN AND WILL CHANGE OUR HEARTS AND LIVES ..... SO WE CAN ASK OURSELVES TODAY WHO'S DOING THE PLANTING AND THE WATERING IN OUR OWN LIVES ....................................SUMMER

"SO IF THE SON SETS YOU FREE , YOU WILL BE FREE INDEED !! "

THIS IS THE DAY FOR CHRISTIANS ALL OVER THE WORLD TO PROCLAIM OUR FREEDOM .....THIS IS A DAY UNLIKE ANY OTHER .....THIS IS THE DAY WE CELEBRATE VICTORY OVER DEATH .....THIS IS THE DAY THAT JESUS CHRIST HAS RISEN FROM DEAD ..... THIS DAY IS RESURRECTION SUNDAY ..... " On the first day of the week , very early in the morning , the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb . They found the stone rolled away from the tomb , but when they entered , they did not find the body of the LORD JESUS . While they were wondering about this , suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightening stood beside them . In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground , but the men said to them , " Why do you look for the living among the dead ? HE is not here ; HE has risen ! Remember how HE told you , while HE was still with you in Galilee : ' The SON of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men , be crucified and on the third day be raised again . ' " Then they remembered HIS words . " LUKE 24:1-8 ..... AS WE CAN READ HERE OUR LORD IS ALIVE ..... THIS IS A GOSPEL TRUTH ..... SOMETIMES IT IS HARD FOR US TO CONCEIVE THIS YET IT IS TRUE ..... WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN A SAVIOUR , A LIVING GOD THAT HAS DIED FOR OUR SINFUL WAYS AND ROSE FROM THE DEAD IN ORDER THAT WE MAY BE SET FREE FROM THE STING OF AN ETERNAL DEATH .....SO ON THIS DAY , IF WE DO NOT HAVE REASON TO CELEBRATE THIS TRUTH , AND WE DO NOTHING ELSE WE CAN DO THIS : REPENT OF OUR SIN , HUMBLY ASK THE LORD JESUS INTO OUR HEARTS AND THEN PRAISE HIS NAME BECAUSE IT IS TRUE ..... THE FINISHED WORK OF GOD

GOD CREATED THIS BEAUTIFUL PLACE WE CALL HOME FOR NOW .....THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT WHEN WE GAZE UPON GODS CREATION WE SEE MAJESTY & BEAUTY FAR BEYOND WHAT ANY MAN HAS OR WILL EVER CREATE ..... GODS FINISHED WORK CANNOT BE COMPARED TO AND SO FOR THAT WE HONOR HIM ON THIS DAY THAT MAN HAS ASSIGNED AS "EARTH DAY "..... TODAY IS ALSO THE DAY WE CELEBRATE ANOTHER ONE OF GODS FINISHED WORKS ..... THE DEATH OF HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON , JESUS CHRIST ..... WHERE DO WE STAND BEFORE GOD

WHEN WE BECOME SAVED (JUSTIFICATION) THAT IS A MIRACLE ....."For it is by grace you have been saved , through faith - and this not from yourselves , it is a gift from GOD - not by works , so that no one can boast . WHAT WE NEED ONCE THAT MIRACLE OCCURS IS TO BE TAUGHT THE WORD ..... "Jesus answered , "It is written : Man does not live on bread alone , but on every word that comes from the mouth of GOD . " MATTHEW 4:4 ..... GOD'S WORD NEEDS TO BE LEARNED LINE BY LINE AND SCRIPTURE BY SCRIPTURE IN ORDER FOR US TO UNDERSTAND IT CORRECTLY ....."For the WORD of GOD is living and active . WHEN WE LEARN THE WORD OF GOD CORRECTLY WE BECOME CONVICTED TO SEE THE DEITY AND HOLINESS OF CHRIST AS THE TRUE SAVIOUR THAT HE IS ....." For in CHRIST deity all the fullness of the DEITY lives in bodily form , and you have been given fullness in CHRIST , who is the head over every power and authority . " COLOSSIANS 2:9 ..... WE ALSO LEARN OF THE MAN WHO JESUS WAS AS WELL ..... HE WAS A GREAT HIGH PRIEST WHO HAS BEEN ABLE TO SYMPATHIZE WITH US BECAUSE OF HIS LIFE HERE ON EARTH ..... "Therefore , since we have a great HIGH PRIEST who has gone into the heavens , JESUS the SON of GOD , let us hold firmly to faith we profess . For we do not have a HIGH PRIEST who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses , but we have one who has been tempted in every way , just as we are - yet was without sin . Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence , so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need . Every high priest is selected from among men and is appointed to represent them in matters related to GOD , to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins . He is able to deal gently with those who are ignorant and are going astray , since he himself is subject to weakness. This is why he has to offer sacrifices for his own people . No one takes this honor upon himself ; he must be called by GOD , just as Aaron was . So CHRIST also did not take upon himself the glory of becoming a high priest . But GOD said to HIM , "YOU are MY SON ; today I have become YOUR FATHER ." And HE says in another place , "YOU are a PRIEST forever , in the order of Melchizedek . "HEBREWS 4:14-16&5:1-6 ..... IT WAS WHILE JESUS WALKED THE EARTH THAT HE WENT TO HIS FATHER MANY TIMES TO PRAY FOR HIS FATHER TO SAVE HIM FROM DEATH ON THE CROSS HOWEVER WE SEE THAT HE WAS PERFECTLY OBEDIENT TO HIS FATHER , OUR GOD , IN THE END ..... "During the days of JESUS' life on earth , HE offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the ONE who could save HIM from death , and HE was heard because of HIS submission . Although HE was a SON , HE learned obedience from what HE suffered and , once made perfect , HE became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey HIM and was designated by GOD to be a HIGH PRIEST in the order of Melchizedek ." HEBREWS 5:7-10 ..... WE NOW CAN SEE THAT JESUS WAS 100% GOD AND 100% MAN ..... THE LORD GOD CHANGES PEOPLES HEARTS AND LIVES ..... "Therefore , if anyone is in CHRIST , he is a new creation; the old has gone , the new has come !" 2CORINTHIANS 2:17 ..... NOW MATTER HOW WE TRY TO FIX OUR LIVES , WE CANNOT AND WILL NOT HAVE PEACE UNTIL WE RECONCILE WITH JESUS ..... "Do not be anxious about anything , but in everything , by prayer and petition , with thanksgiving , present your requests to GOD . And the peace of GOD , which transcends all understanding , will guard your hearts and your minds in CHRIST JESUS." PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7 ..... THE DEADLY ARROW & THE SWEET BLESSING

THERE IS NOTHING WORSE THAN THE STING OF A HARSH WORD YET WE HAVE ALL FALLEN PREY TO EITHER BEING THE CULPRIT OR THE VICTIM OF SUCH ..... GOD SPEAKS OF THE TONGUE NINETY-THREE TIMES IN THE BIBLE .....MOST OF THE MENTION IS IN REFERENCE TO ITS ABILITY TO CAUSE DESTRUCTION.....AS IT IS REVEALED IN THE NEW TESTAMENT , "Likewise the tongue is a small part of the body , but it makes great boasts . Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark . The tongue also is a fire , a world of evil among the parts of the body . It corrupts the whole person , sets the whole course of his life on fire , and is itself set on fire by hell . All kinds of animals , birds , reptiles and creatures of the sea are being tamed and have been tamed by man , but no man can tame the tongue . It is a restless evil , full of deadly poison . With the tongue we praise our LORD and FATHER , and with it we curse men , who have been made in GOD'S likeness . Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing . My brothers , this should not be . Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring ? "JAMES 3:5-11 ..... WHEN WE LOOK AT THIS PASSAGE OF SCRIPTURE WE CANNOT IGNORE THE INTENSITY OF WHAT IS BEING SAID HERE ..... IT IS DIFFICULT TO GO THROUGH AN HOUR , LET ALONE AN ENTIRE DAY, WITHOUT FACING THE CHALLENGE OF KEEPING OUR TONGUE IN LINE ..... NO DOUBT AS HUMAN BEINGS WE HAVE MANY GOOD THINGS TO TALK ABOUT ..... WE COMPLIMENT EACH OTHER , TALK KINDLY OF ONE ANOTHER , GIVE GOOD REFERENCES FOR SOME AND SPEAK HIGHLY OF OTHERS ; BUT USING THE SAME BREATH WE BELITTLE , CURSE , GOSSIP AND SLANDER EACH OTHER WITH THE RISING AND THE SETTING OF EACH DAY'S SUN ..... AS THE OLD TESTAMENT STATES , " A deceitful tongue crushes the spirit . " PROVERBS 15:4 ..... AND YET THE OLD TESTAMENT SCRIPTURES REVEAL EVEN MORE ABOUT THIS SUBJECT WHEN IT SAYS , " Their tongue is a deadly arrow . " JEREMIAH 9:8 ..... WE WANT TO BELIEVE THAT WE CAN FIX THIS PROBLEM ON OUR OWN , HOWEVER THERE IS ONE THING THAT WILL ALWAYS GET IN OUR WAY ; THAT IS OUR SIN NATURE ..... BECAUSE THE HEART OF MAN IS DECEITFUL OUR TONGUES CANNOT BE TAMED WITHOUT THE HELP OF GOD HIMSELF ..... IF WE ARE TO PLEASE GOD AND GIVE HIM THE GLORY HE SO RIGHTFULLY DESERVES , WE MUST LEARN TO CONTROL OUR TONGUES ..... HUMBLY GOING BEFORE GOD ON A DAILY BASIS AND ASKING HIM TO ASSIST US IN THIS MATTER IS A NECESSITY ..... ASKING THE HOLY SPIRIT TO FILL OUR HEARTS AND MINDS IS THE BEGINNING OF HAVING A MORE SELF-CONTROLLED TONGUE ..... WHEN WE DO THIS HE WILL FILL US WITH HIS FRUITS AS IT IS SPOKEN OF IN THE NEW TESTAMENT , " But the fruit of the SPIRIT is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control . Against such things there is no law . " GALATIONS 5:22 ..... DAILY DEPENDENCE ON THE LORD JESUS , PRAYER AND STUDY OF HIS WORD WILL ENABLE US TO BECOME THE PERSON WHOM GOD HAS INTENDED US TO BE AND ALLOW US TO BRING A SWEET BLESSING TO THOSE AROUND US .....
