THIS GIVES MEANING TO THE NEWS THAT GOD IS ALWAYS IN CONTROL ..... DO WE SEE BEAUTY IN EVERYTHING AROUND US OR ARE WE DISGRUNTLED
WITH THE COMING OF WINTER ON THE HORIZON ..... IN THE BOOK OF ECCLESIASTES GOD GIVES US A REASON TO BE CONTENT WITH JUST OUR MERE EXISTENCE WHEN HE REVEALS THAT EVERYTHING HAS AN EXACT ORDER, PLACE & TIME ..... HE SAYS THIS: " There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven. A time to give birth, and a time to die; A time to plant, and a time to uproot what is planted. A time to kill, and a time to heal; A time to tear down, and a time to build up. A time to weep, and a time to laugh; A time to mourn and a time to dance. A time to throw stones, and a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, and a time to shun embracing. A time to give up, and a time to give up as lost; A time to keep and a time to throw away. A time to tear apart, and a time to sew together; A time to be silent, and a time to speak. GOD TEACHES US TO LET GO WHEN HE REVEALS TO US A TRIED AND TRUE SCRIPTURE ..... THIS IS THE DAY FOR CHRISTIANS ALL OVER THE WORLD TO PROCLAIM OUR FREEDOM .....THIS IS A DAY UNLIKE ANY OTHER .....THIS IS THE DAY WE CELEBRATE VICTORY OVER DEATH .....THIS IS THE DAY THAT JESUS CHRIST HAS RISEN FROM DEAD ..... THIS DAY IS RESURRECTION SUNDAY ..... " On the first day of the week , very early in the morning , the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb . They found the stone rolled away from the tomb , but when they entered , they did not find the body of the LORD JESUS . While they were wondering about this , suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightening stood beside them . In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground , but the men said to them , " Why do you look for the living among the dead ? HE is not here ; HE has risen ! GODS FINISHED WORK CANNOT BE COMPARED TO AND SO FOR THAT WE HONOR HIM ON THIS DAY THAT MAN HAS ASSIGNED AS "EARTH DAY "..... YELLOW IS SUCH A CHEERFUL COLOR.....I ACTUALLY THINK IT CREATES A CHEERFUL HEART.....AND AS IT IS FOUND IN GODS WORD "A cheerful heart is good medicine " PROVERBS 17:22 ..... I HAVE A VERY SOFT BRIGHT YELLOW SUMMER SHIRT THAT HAS BEEN WITH ME FOR SUCH A LONG TIME , YET IT STILL LOOKS SO BRIGHT E & MAKES ME FEEL UPLIFTED WHEN I WEAR IT .....I ALSO HAVE A PAIR OF YELLOW FLEECE PAJAMAS , SO COZY & WARM THAT I WAS GRATEFUL TO HAVE THEM THIS WINTER..... I ALWAYS TRY TO MAKE LEMONADE WHEN LIFE GIVES ME LEMONS .....GODS TELLS US THIS IN THE NEW TESTAMENT WHEN HE REVEALS THE SECRET ON CONTENMENT , " I am not saying this because I am in need ,for I have learned to be content , whatever the circumstances . GOD'S WORD TELLS ME THIS IS TRUE WHEN I READ JOHN 15:5 , " I am the vine , you are the branches ; he who abides in ME and I in him , he bears much fruit , for apart from ME you can do nothing . " JEREMIAH 1:5 .....IT IS IN THIS VERY FIRST CHAPTER OF THIS OLD TESTAMENT BOOK THAT WE DISCOVER THAT OUR GOD KNEW JEREMIAH BEFORE HE WAS EVEN FORMED , WHAT A DELIGHT TO FIND OUT THAT WE HAVE A GOD THAT LOVES US SO MUCH THAT WE WERE ON HIS MIND EVEN BEFORE WE WERE FORMED .....FOR WE HAVE EACH BEEN GIVEN A SPECIFIC TIME OF ARRIVAL AS WELL AS AN APPOINTED TIME TO DEPART ..... But if salt loses its saltiness , how can it be made salty again ? It is no longer good for anything , except to be thrown out and trampled by men . You are the light of the world . A city on a hill cannot be hidden . Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl . Instead they put it on its stand , and it gives light to everyone in the house . In the same way , let your light shine before men , that they may see your good deeds and praise your good deeds and praise your FATHER in heaven . "Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves , you are slaves to the one whom you obey -whether you are slaves to sin , which leads to death , or to obedience , which leads to righteousness ? " ROMANS 6:16......................STILL YET AT OTHER TIMES WE CAN FEEL QUITE LONELY IF THE ONE WE LOVE DOESN'T LOVE US BACK OR IF WE HAPPEN TO HAVE A NON BELIEVING SPOUSE ................... TO THE CONTRARY , HAVING EXPERIENCED THIS FEELING AT DIFFERENT TIMES DURING OUR LIVES, STILL DOESN'T GUARANTEE THAT WE WILL BE EMPATHETIC AND COMPASSIONATE TO THOSE AROUND US WHO ARE GOING THROUGH THIS...............THE FEELING OF BEING ALONE HAS TWO CONTRASTS .........................THE FIRST BEING THAT INNER SPIRITUAL & EMOTIONAL EMPTINESS THAT CAN ACCOMPANY US WHEN WE DO NOT HAVE A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LORD JESUS .......... THIS TYPE OF LONELINESS OCCURS WHEN THE DRAW OF THE SECULAR WORLD PULLS US DEEPER AND DEEPER INTO THE ABYSS OF MATERIALISM ............IT'S AN ALL CONSUMING OBSESSION THAT CONTINUES TO EAT AWAY AT US , WHILE WE TRY TO SATISFY OUR SPIRIT WITH BOUTS OF TEMPORARY HAPPINESS , YET NOTHING IS EVER ENOUGH. " Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth , where moth and rust destroy , and where thieves break in and steal . But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven , where moth and rust do not destroy , and where thieves do not break in and steal . For where your treasure is , there your heart will be also. AS WE APPROACH THE HOUR WHEN OUR LORD GAVE HIS LIFE SO THAT WE MAY LIVE ETERNALLY WITH HIM IN HEAVEN , I REFLECT ON WHAT IT REALLY MEANS TO HAVE FELLOWSHIP WITH MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN CHRIST....... JOHN 13:1-9 STATES, " It was just before the Passover Feast. Jesus knew that the time had come for HIM to leave the world and go to the FATHER. Having loved HIS own who were in the world , HE now showed them the full extent of HIS love. The evening meal was being served , and the devil had already prompted Judas Iscariot , son of Simon , to betray JESUS. JESUS knew that the FATHER had put all things under HIS power , and that HE had come from GOD and was returning to GOD ; so HE got up from the meal , took off HIS outer clothing , and wrapped a towel around HIS waist. After that , HE poured water into a basin and began to wash HIS disciples' feet , drying them with a towel that was wrapped around HIM. HE came to Simon Peter , who said to HIM , '' LORD , are you going to wash my feet ? " JESUS replied , " You do not realize now what I am doing , but later you will understand . SHE ARRIVED AT 1:22 P.M....... YEP !! MR. SUNSHINES' GOOD FRIEND WAS FINALLY HERE , RIGHT ON TIME , DECKED OUT IN HER FINEST ARRAY AND LOOKING HER BEST....... WOW !!It has been a whole week since i have been here , but time spent away always makes my heart grow fonder of this site ....... I'll share with you a little bit about what happened when my stand at the farmers market closed up for the winter season. A friend of mine called one day ,early on this winter, to ask me if i'd like to help out with the care of her friends mom (95 years young ),who was living alone and in need of some daily care....... I decided to accept thinking that winter season wouldn't feel so cold and spring would arrive sooner than later !! Little did i know that i was about to receive a lesson from my LORD on christian obedience and the different seasons of our lives instead . So early each morning i would begin my day and ask the LORD to reveal to me what it was most that this woman needed besides her basic physical care . He would always bring to my attention that i was to be extra kind and very respectful to her because she was in the winter season of her life . This brought me to the scripture in the OLD TESTAMENT ,"Rise in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your GOD . " LEVITICUS 19:32 I had not known if this woman knew of the LORD, but i did know what the LORD revealed to me as i prayed. And so it was, as i began the long winter season with a 95 year old woman in need of physical care ,kindness and respect . As time passed, there were days on which i was so excited i accepted this assignment that i found myself looking forward to getting up, despite the sub zero temperatures . And then there were those other days where i was so sorry i accepted the request,that i would bury my head under the pillow and wait until the very last minute to dress and go.Through it all however i held true to my obedience to the LORD to be extra kind and respectful. I wondered what it was the LORD was trying to teach me , until just the other day ,as i sat next to her it clicked . As we both sat quietly in the living room i was thinking of how my time spent there was not appreciated as it should be but still yet i asked , " V , can i do anything for you ? " and as she picked up her head and slowly turned to me she weakly stated , " Just be there thats all. " Sometimes the situations in our lives really don't require us to do anything at all but to " just be there ". ...................................................summer

WHAT IT REALLY COMES DOWN TO IS , AS A PEOPLE, WE HAVE AN ISSUE WITH FORGIVENESS .YOU SEE, WITH FORGIVENESS COMES THE LETTING GO OF SUCH THINGS AS ANGER ,WRATH ,HATRED AND BITTERNESS ; HENCE REPLACING THEM WITH LOVE, KINDNESS ,COMPASSION AND TENDERNESS .SO HOW DO WE BECOME A FORGIVING PERSON ? WHY SHOULD WE BE A PERSON WHO FORGIVES ? CAN WE DO THIS OR LEARN TO BECOME THIS WAY ON OUR OWN ? THE LORD TELLS US IN MATTHEW 18:21-22 "Then Peter came to JESUS and asked ,"LORD how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me ?Up to seven times ?" JESUS answered , "I tell you , not seven times , but seventy times seven ." SO WE KNOW THAT JESUS WANTS US TO FORGIVE ! IN THIS CHAPTER FURTHER ON DOWN IN VS.35, AFTER JESUS FINISHES EXPLAINING THE STORY OF THE UNMERCIFUL SERVANT (I ENCOURAGE YOU TO READ THIS CHAPTER ) He states ,"This is how my heavenly FATHER will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart . " AGAIN THIS TELLS US THAT WE ARE TO FORGIVE, BUT ONE CANNOT FORGIVE TRUELY FROM ONES HEART WITHOUT KNOWING THAT JESUS HAS FORGIVEN US FIRST...... DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE THIS ..... IT IS TRUE. THE LORD JESUS HAD PAID THE PRICE FOR THE SINS OF ALL MANKIND BY DYING ON THE CROSS AT CALVARY !! WHEN WE LOOK AT THE GOSPEL OF JOHN IN CHAPTER 19:28-30 , "Later, knowing that all was now completed , and so that the Scripture would be fulfilled , JESUS said, "Iam thirsty.'' A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it , put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to JESUS' lips. When he had received the drink , JESUS said , "It is finished ."With that , he bowed his head and gave up his spirit ." IT IS TRUE TO SAY JESUS WAS THE LAST BLOOD SACRIFICE . AS WE LOOK UPON HOW GOD FORGIVES US OF OUR SIN WHEN WE REPENT AND TAKE THE LORD JESUS INTO OUR HEARTS WE CANNOT IGNORE THE NEED TO FORGIVE OTHERS THAT HAVE WRONGED US. MATTHEW 5:38-39 STATES "You have heard it said ,'Eye for eye,and toothe for tooth. But i tell you different,do not resist an evil person . If someone strikes you on the right cheek , turn to him the other also." AND IN 1JOHN 1:8-9 , "If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins , he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrightousness." IS THIS EASY FOR US ...... NO . IS THIS POSSIBLE FOR US ....... NO. NOT WITHOUT THE LORD JESUS . IN EPHESIANS THE SCRIPTURES TELL US TO, " Get rid of all bitterness,rage anger brawling and slander ,along with with every form of malice. WHAT A WONDERFUL VETERANS DAY !!!!!! FIRST AND FOREMOST I WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL THE BRAVE & COURAGEOUS MEN AND WOMEN WHO HAVE SELFLESSLY DEDICATED THEIR LIVES TO PRESERVING OUR FREEDOMS !!!! TODAY IS A CELEBRATION OF THEM, AS IT SHOULD BE EVERY DAY ....... ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU !!!! FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT DONT KNOW, I HAVE A LOVELY GRANDDAUGHTER ,THAT I ENJOY BEING WITH AND DOING THINGS WITH EVERY CHANCE I GET .TODAY WE WENT TO MAKE CHICKEN DELIVERIES FOR THE FARM .(LOCAL RESIDENTS LOVE TO EAT THE ORGANIC POULTRY) ........WE STOPPED AT MY FRIENDS , AND SHE PLAYED WITH THE KIDS FOR A LITTLE WHILE .......WE ALSO VISITED ANOTHER FRIENDS FARM AND I INTRODUCED HER TO BUELA AND BETSY THE DAIRY COWS ...... WE THEN MADE OUR ROUNDS TO A THIRD FRIENDS HOME TO DELIVER A MEAL ........ AND FINALLY OUR LAST STOP AT THE LOCAL DAIRY BAR FOR A FREE ICECREAM CONE .....A FULL DAY OF FELLOWSHIP AND FUN WITH MY BEAUTIFUL GRANDDAUGHTER .... OH HOW BLESSED I AM !!!!!! ......... SUMMER

NOW I AM NOT ONE TO COMPLAIN , AS I REALLY AM GRATEFUL FOR ALL THE BLESSINGS THAT THE LORD HAS GIVEN ME , HOWEVER I NEED NEW BOOTS !!!!!!! FORGET PERFUMES , FINE LINENS , LUXARY SOAPS , LINGERIE , OR EVEN A CARRIBEAN VACATION WITH MY WONDERFUL HUSBAND ............ ALL I NEED AND WANT IS NEW BOOTS !!!!! THESE BOOTS WILL HAVE TO HAVE IT ALL ...... A WIDE FRONT , A LOW HEEL , LEATHER OR SUEDE OUTER , AND THE BEST WILL BE THE LINING ......FUR LINED TO KEEP MY LIL TOOTSIES WARM WHILE I GO TO MARKET !! WELL IT HAS BEEN QUITE SOME TIME SINCE MY LAST POSTING ...... SIMPLY BECAUSE OF HOW BUSY I'VE BEEN OVER THE LAST MONTH ....... THAT IS A VERY GOOD THING, AS BEFORE SEPTEMBER CAME ALONG ,I HAD NO IDEA THAT I WOULD DOING THE FARM MARKET DOWN AT THE LOCAL UNIVERSITY HERE IN TOWN ..... THINGS HAVE BEEN "MOVIN' ALONG " WITH THE MARKET SALES OF THE FRESH FARM VEGGIES AND EGGS ,AS WELL AS THE OTHER PRODUCTS OF JAMS ,JELLIES, TEAS AND SOAPS ...... THE STUDENTS REALLY APPRECIATE THE FRESH VEGGIES AND OTHER INSPIRATIONS OF WISDOM ( one of the young freshman students wanted me to help her with planting a few herbs for the up coming winter season so she could keep them in her dorm room and use them ) ..... I AM ALWAYS AMAZED AT HOW THE LORD USES ME AS A TEACHER WHEN I AM NOT ACTUALLY IN A CLASSROOM ANYMORE...... THIS WAS A VERY GOOD DAY EVEN IF ITS NOT EXACTLY WHAT I THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE !!! WHAT A GREAT DAY !!!!!!!

It isn't all too often that the entire day goes well however today was one of those exceptions.......the first great thing was that i slept really well last night !!!!!! Now usually i do get my 7 hours of sleep but when i go to bed later than 11pm i wake up groggy ..... but not today . The second great thing was that i felt really healthy this a.m.!!!!!!!!! Now i am a very healthy woman and i am ever soooooooooo grateful but today i really felt healthy as well. The third great thing was seeing the sun shining !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now i really have to say that summer time is the best time around here (the winters are really cold and long ) but i also must say that this summer was the most rainy i have seen in a very very very long time .The fourth great thing was seeing my husband enjoying his coffee and also the marvelous breakfast i had made !!!!!!!! Now my hubby is very appreciative of all the breakfasts i have ever made him but today he was very appreciative . The fifth great thing was getting out of the house on time to run all my errands!!!!!!!!!!! now i am usually on the go all week but today i was out the door exactly when i was supposed to be and the day went so well. The sixth great thing today was earning some extra money that i wasn't expecting !!!!!!!! Now its one thing to earn a dollar but when when you earn two ,well thats exciting . The seventh great thing was being able to come home relax and have a good dinner with my husband !!!!!!! Now i enjoy cooking very much but when i go out to eat its even more enjoyable . The eighth great thing was knowing that i couldn't have done this entire day this great all by myself !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now i do know that getting it all done was great but it was even greater doing it with the LORD JESUS leading my way . Thanks FATHER ! see you all tommorrow.....................summer

AN OL' MAN AND A DOG

SHOULD I DARE SAY THAT I LONG FOR ANOTHER DOG BECAUSE OF THE LOVELY MEMORIES WE HAVE OF OUR SINCE BELOVED GOLDEN RETRIEVER (SIR HAPPY JACK ) & OUR MIXED BREED LAB/SHEPARD (MISS DAISY ) . IT ALL BEGAN YESTERDAY WHEN OUR 88 YEAR OLD, RECENTLY WIDOWED NEIGHBOR FRANK CAME OVER TO OUR HOUSE WITH A REALLY PRETTY DOG NAMED HENNA ....... YOU SAY HOW DID AN 88 YEAR OLD MAN COME UPON A BEAUTY LIKE THAT ......WELL, HE INFORMED ME THAT A FRIEND ASKED HIM TO DOG SIT FOR THE WEEK. AT FIRST WHILE WE SPOKE, FRANK WAS A BIT PERTURBED BECAUSE HE WOULD HAVE THIS DOG FOR A WHOLE 7 DAYS (AS YOU WOULD EXPECT ) ...... AND IT WOULD BE KIND TO SAY THIS DOG HAD THE STENCH OF AN OL' FISH TOWEL !!!!! AS WE CHATTED AND PLAYED WITH THE DOG RESENTMENTS FADED ...... FRANK WENT HOME AND I WENT TO BED ....... ONLY TO AWAKEN THIS MORNING THINKING ABOUT HOW THIS DOG TRULY WOULDN'T BE A BEAUTY 'TIL SHE HAD A BATH . WEATHER FORECAST : RAIN !! LOOKING OUT MY WINDOW I SEE THIS OL' WIDOWED MAN WALKING THIS BEAUTY , THUNDER & ALL !! SEEING THIS TOOK MY THOUGHTS TO THE BOOK OF GENESIS 2:18-24 ,WHERE THE LORD GOD PLACED ADAM IN THE GARDEN WITH THE EXISTING ANIMALS , TO BE OVER THEM AND NAME THEM ,YET ADAM HAD NO SUITABLE HELPMATE ...... ADAM ENJOYED THE ANIMALS BUT BECAUSE HE WAS MADE IN GODS IMAGE (GENESIS 1 :27) HE LONGED FOR A SUITABLE HELPMATE ....... SO YOU SEE , THE ANIMALS CAN BE A GREAT SOURCE OF COMFORT FOR US ,HOWEVER BECAUSE WE ARE MADE IN GODS IMAGE , HE LONGS FOR US TO HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM .HE ALSO WANTS US TO RECIPROCATE THAT & CULTIVATE LOVING RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER PEOPLE. AS WE DO THAT WE BEGIN TO LEARN THAT THESE ARE THE THINGS THAT ARE MOST IMPORTANT ........ WOULDN'T TODAY BE A GOOD DAY TO REACH OUT AND FORM A RELATIONSHIP WITH SOMEBODY LIKE FRANK ......OR MAYBE REKINDLE A RELATIONSHIP THAT HAS TAKEN A BACK SEAT TO OTHER OBSESSIONS IN OUR LIVES...... IT WAS TO MY SURPRISE ,BUT THE WOMAN WHO RUNS THE MARKET CALLED TO LET ME KNOW THAT I MAY SELL MY PRODUCTS AT THE MARKET EVERY THURSDAY !! THIS REALLY EXCITES ME BECAUSE I REALLY AM PASSIONATE ABOUT GETTING BACK TO SIMPLE LIVING AND ALSO ABOUT LOCAL SMALL BUSINESS' GETTING THEIR PRODUCTS OUT THERE FOR THE PEOPLE....... WHETHER THE PRODUCTS ARE FOOD, CRAFTS ,HANDMADE,GREEN, VINTAGE OR RECYCLED WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THE BENEFITS OF SMALL COMMUNITY LIVING .I'LL START TO GET ALL MY TEAS ,FRESH HERBS, SOAPS AND DRY GOODS, ALONG WITH THE EGGS READY FOR THE START DATE IN 2 WEEKS .......
